The Camp has been especially designed for you to acclimatize to Cusco’s altitude, train on the race course, and prepare you psychologically for the race.
You will train from morning to lunchtime, about 2 to 4 hours daily, with distances around 30 to 40 Km per day, leaving you time in the afternoons to enjoy Cusco with your friends and family.
In The Camp we will provide transportation and connections support, water and fruits along the road and a certified UCI coach that knows the area will accompany you.
We suggest athletes arrive in Cusco on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, assemble their bike and take a brief ride around the city.
On day 1 you will face the hardest climb of the race, one hour climb to Abra Corao.
You will get to know all the curves, and tips that you will require to face the challenge.
On day 2, we will transfer you to the Sacred Valley, and you will train on a flat terrain to the Inca Wall.
On day 3, you will ride with the favorite coach’s routine called “Opponents”.
That will get you in an optimal state for the race. So get ready for GFNY Peru 2021!
Furthermore, in The Camp we have partnered with different hotels that meet the needs of every cyclist with comfort and amazing food and where you can even store your bike in your own room.
During all The Camp days we will have a mechanic available for any technical issues that may present, so you and your bike can enjoy the CAMP at its best.
